February 14, 2011 To: Liz Siggers(Owner) and stylist Donnette Henry at Liz's Hair Care Salon I am writing this letter to express my sincere appreciation to Liz's Hair Care Salon for providing me with exceptional service (staying punctual, reminders of upcoming appointments, and being conscientious of my time once I am there for an appointment), and the best hair care in New England. Every time I come to the salon, I am impressed with the professionalism, service (discreet greetings from Shantae Barnes), as well as all of the other stylists are pleasant. I also appreciate Donnette's attention to detail, and giving me a really good relaxer. Of course, I am partial since I make appointments with her, but I love the way she styles, and does my hair. She also takes her time with me, provides solid recommendations, and makes sure that she records my hair's progress over time. I am new to the New England area; I am a 4th year Ph.D. student at Brown University, and live in Providence, RI. It has been a huge adjustment for me. I am from Charlotte, NC, and I had a difficult time finding a stylist in New England that understood how to style my hair (not a blow out, but roller set and/or doobie), and also specialize in healthy hair, not just making it look good. I would have to say that your salon specializes in both healthy hair, and also makes you come out feeling good about yourself. Overall, I would have to say the highlight of my experience would be my appointment with Liz. Liz did my hair the week before my wedding, which was a very stressful time for me. My hair looked fabulous, and turned out really well. All it needed the day of the wedding was a simple wash and set since Liz had done such a remarkable job with my hair. I hope that my husband and I will eventually move to the Boston area so the commute won't be so hectic for me to travel, and get my hair done. I also would like to get my hair done more frequently outside of relaxers. Once again, I truly would like to thank Liz, Donnette, and all of the other staff at Liz Hair Care Salon for making my transition into New England smooth. Liz's salon has truly been the closest thing to being in a southern African-American salon-and reminds me of home. Just think, I found out about this salon through a "Google" search on the internet, and I have been pleasantly surprised! I make sure to recommend this salon to my friends in Providence who are willing to travel for extraordinary hair care service.
